Linda Sherman

Records Clerk Linda Wolcott Sherman has been serving the Seneca Falls Community since July of 1987 when she was hired by the Village of Seneca Falls Police Department as a dispatcher. She held that position until June of 2009 when she became employed at her current position as a Data Entry/Records Clerk for the Village of Seneca Falls Police Department, a position she currently maintains while employed by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department that was established on January 1st, 2012. Clerk Sherman is a graduate of Cayuga Community College, having attained an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She is certified by New York State in Public Safety Telecommunications through training received at the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy. She has also completed AED Training and Introduction to the Incident Command System training programs. Clerk Sherman has received commendations for outstanding job performance in 1987 for her work on an attempted murder investigation and also in 1998 for the Celebrate ’98 Women’s Right’s Convention.
