Man Arrested on Several Felonies Following Domestic

On September 6th, 2012 Seneca Falls Police arrested Berain L. Winfield, age 30, of 5663 State Route 96, Romulus, New York, 14541 on an arrest warrant for 3rd Degree Robbery, 4th Degree Grand Larceny, 1st Degree Criminal Contempt, 1st Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Unlawful Imprisonment, two counts of 2nd Degree Harassment, 2nd Degree Menacing, 3rd Degree Assault, and 4th Degree Criminal Mischief. The charges stem from a domestic dispute on Mynderse Street in Seneca Falls that occurred during the early morning hours on August 30th, 2012. Winfield was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court in front of acting Justice Mattoon and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash and $40,000 ins bond. Winfield is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on Monday September 10th, 2012 at 10:00am for a felony hearing.
